Total artificial heart (TAH)
Nowadays artificial heart is used for maintenance of blood circulation in following cases:
- Terminal cardiac arrest.
- Heart disease with life forecast less than 30 days.
- Absence of natural cardiac transplant.
- There are no other methods of treatment.

The modelling mode of artificial heart differs from the modelling mode of natural heart that in control contours there are no some feedbacks on those physiological parameters, for which it is impossible to design sensors. During simulation process user can switch on or switch off appropriate feedbacks.
