CIDDesigning of Cisco networks
The course is intended for system engineers and network administrators and considers questions of designing of multilegal networks, and also usages of equipment Cisco in large local and wide-area networks.
the Program of course:
After the corse termination students will learn:
- to carry out the analysis of a network at the initial stage of designing;
- to reveal a circle of the key technical, financial and administrative questions connected to designing of a network;
- to select the network equipment, the software and the environments of data transfer, optimal for a projected network;
- effectively to use the equipment and software Cisco for implementation of network solutions;
- to project networks TCP/IP in view of features of OSPF protocols and EIGRP;
- to model and build networks IPX, Appletalk, Frame Relay, X25, ATM/SMDS, SNA.
Necessary preparation
Starting to learning course, students should:
- to have a practical operational experience in multilegal networks;
- to know typical algorithms of routing;
- to possess detailed knowledge TCP/IP;
- to have an operational experience with Appletalk, IPX and NetBIOS;
- to know WAN-protocols, switching Frame Relay, ISDN and X.25;
- to understand principles of transmission of packages in немаршрутизируемых networks (Bridging.)
