Capillary pulmonary model

pulmonary capillaries in our model are not a separate compartment . Capillary blood volume is a part of venous pulmonary compartment (VR). Capillary blood flowq=FARVR according to (10) is determined by linear dependence on the difference between arterial pulmonary pressure PAR and venous pulmonary pressure PVR :

(45)

The conductivity of this section of vascular model is evaluated with the equation:

(46)

The member A14DO2 in the equation (46) mathematically evaluates a hypothesis about positive dependence of capillary conductivity from the level of oxygen deficiency. The member A13γ evaluates a vasoconstriction under the increase of neurohumoral input, that leads to the increase of peripheral resistance. A well-known fact of small dependence of pulmonary vessels from sympathetic input is evaluated with considerably smaller value A13 relatively to the similar parameterA3 for systemic capillaries in the formula (44).
