Setting of ADC parameters

The dialog box of ADC settings is intended for definition of channel parameters of data input from sensors of physiological data. For the numeralization the input voltages from a range of -10V +10V, admissible for device E-140, are permitted.

  • It is necessary to compare a number of ADC channel to each physiological parameter, which is read out from the sensor. There can be up to 16 channels, and the numbers of channels are from 0 to 15. Preliminary the measuring devices or sensors of physiological data are connected to channels of ADC device according to one of possible schemes of connection. If a parameter is not read out from the sensor, the channel number for it is not determined (the button " Off " on the toolbar). For each working channel it is necessary to define a range of input voltages according to characteristics of measuring device (sensor), connected to the channel. The range voltage can take on one of the following values: (-10V, +10V), (-2.5V, +2.5V), (-0.625V, +0.625V). (-0.15625V, +0.15625V).

  • For each parameter, read out from the sensor, the gage curve consisting of pairs of test parameter values and corresponding to them input values of voltage on the ADC channel is constructed. For construction of gage curve you need to consistently submit the defined values of physiological parameter on the sensor and then with the help of the button- " Test " to read the signal value from ADC canal. The result is a monotone increasing gage curve. Non-monotone gage curve are not allowed. If the gage curve is monotone decreasing, you are to change the polarity of sensor connection and then try again.

  • For definition of gage curve by default there is a button- "Default". The default gage curve is a linear dependence of output voltage from input physiological parameter on the all range of output voltages.

  • On the inset "Options of measurements " the additional paraemeters are set: numeralization frequency, numeralization time, body mass.

  • The saving of changed ADC parameters is realized by pressing the button "Apply". At pressing the button - "Save" the opportunity of saving of ADC parameters in the separate file is afforded.

  • The button- "Load" is intended for the load of saved configuration of ADC parameters from the laboratory.
