Manual measurements

The panel "Manual numeralization" is intended for performance of operations with packages of measurements, namely:

  • creation of a new package of measurements,
  • manual change of a current package of measurements.

The procedure of manual input of measurements of the physiological parameter is intended for creation of a unit in the package of measurements on the basis of graphic curve image. For the performance of this procedure BMP, JPEG, WMF files, obtained during the scanning, can be used. The input procedure consists in the indication of a sequence of the points belonging to the curve, and also dimensional characteristics of curve. The input of measurements can be performed by one of three ways according to the chosen measuring paradigm.

The measuring paradigm is being chosen by a user.

Measuring paradigm
Object of measurements Description
C
Continuous on an heart cycle
The curve is diagramed as a series of points belonging to its schedule in the range of one cardiac cycle. It is the fullest way of numeralization, that is suitable for use in the identification procedure with integral criterion or maximum criterion.
D
Pair (minimum, maximum)
Value of a physiological variable and the moment of its measurement within a cardiac cycle are set only (for example, end-systolic ventricular volume and moment of termination of a systolic phase).
I
Single value
Only one integral numerical value of physiological curve is assigned in the range of one cardiac cycle (for example, average arterial pressure, ventricular stroke volume).

   Actions user Actions user

Action "New package of measurements"

To create new package of measurements please to execute the action "New package of measurements" on the page control pane. This action leads to the start of Manual Measurements Wizard hand measurements of the first physiological curve of new empty package of measurements. The successful performance of actions in the wizard is concluded with the addition of a new unit with digitized curve values in the opened package measurements.

Action "Open package of measurements"

If you want to change old package of measurements, first open it by execute "Open package of measurements". Then you can add a new unit in package of measurements("Add new measurement"), delete it ("Delete measurement from package") or change a series of points - digitized curve values by "drag and drop".

Action "Save package of measurements"

The action "Save package of measurements" is intended for saving of numeralization results in XML file or SQL database. The option applies to finished typing measurements.

Action "Add new measurement"

The action "Add new measurement" is intended to start the wizard hand measurements with a view to adding a new section to a package of measurements.

Action "Delete measurement from package"

The action "Delete measurement from package" deletes the chosen measurement (curve) from the opened package of measurements.

Action "Apply numeralization changes"

The action "Apply numeralization changes" is intended to save the changes made in the process of manually editing a series of points of measurements.

Action "Double the number of measuring points"

The action "Double the number of measuring points" designed to automatically doubling the number of measurements to increase the accuracy. New measuring point can drag the mouse through, placing them as accurately as possible to the image curve.

The action "Set value" is intended to specify the value of the measured variable: minimum and maximum values, body mass and pulse frequency. Setting values is made in a special dialog box.

If you follow the action "Default Web page", the right of the page displays the home help page.
