The parameter is included in mathematical description of the dependence capillary systemic blood flow from the difference between arterial and venous pressure:

The parameter characterizes the dependence of capillary conductivity from the value oxygen debt DO₂ . The parameter is used for modelling of pathologic modes, where the effect of deviation of capillary sensitivity to these influences exists, for example “vegetative vascular crisis” and others.
